Jennifer joined the Home and Community Team in 2009.  She is an experimental psychologist, where her research focuses on multisensory integration, self-motion perception, and navigation. She examines how the human brain integrates different sensory signals (visual, auditory, proprioceptive, vestibular) by studying several different populations (e.g., younger adults, older adults and high-level athletes), and by using behavioural measures and computational models. Her work makes extensive use of Virtual Reality and motion simulation technologies.  She  has a particular interest in understanding how multisensory processes are involved in real world challenges and how multisensory training tools can be used to improve performance.
